We’re still on holiday… For many years we have been experts in doing holidays-on-the-cheap. We’re staying for a few days at, what for us is, a posh hotel. Who’d have thought it?

We’re staying near eldest brother Bryan. Last night we had a meal with him and caught up on family news… children, their children, his first expected great-grandchild… weddings, planned weddings, jobs, homes, house purchases, holidays. Ordinary stuff, yet to us important.
Musing on our story… Bryan leaving home for university when I was young… going to work in Uruguay and getting married when I was a teenager… seeing where we both are today. We couldn’t have predicted what was to come… Who’d have thought it?

Yesterday our friend Andy advertised…
As a company we are always trying to evolve & adapt to keep up with both our customers’ needs & their cars requirements… we are in the early stages of putting in a second MOT lane and expand the workshop once again…getting new customers on a regular basis & finding it hard to keep up with demand on both MOT’s & general repairs… we are looking for a qualified technician to join our team…
Musing on Andy’s story… training as a car mechanic, repairing our car on our drive, setting up a business, working hard, buying a garage, developing a thriving business.
From the teenage Andy I knew to the successful business man he is today… Who’d have thought it?

This morning I read the story of the wedding where Jesus’ mother Mary says, ‘Do whatever he tells you,’ and Jesus turns water into wine.
Musing on Mary’s story… visited by angels, unplanned teenage pregnancy, baby born in a stable, fleeing for their life… carpenter’s wife, growing family, bereavement… Jesus leaving home… water into wine, Jesus’ popularity, teaching, miracles… watching Jesus’ painful death, his resurrection… Who’d have thought it?
…Bryan, Andy, Mary… Me… ‘Do whatever he tells you.’ Who’d have thought it?

Ever thought of setting up a “radical” travel agency Malcolm? We will be your first customers. Lol
